Hola!

23 of us went down for Jessie and Joe’s nuptials and had an amazing time. Great weather, beautiful water and tons of fun. Thanks to the 60 SPF both of us came back nice pale Canadians (but I do have a tan, really I do!). Went snorkelling with sharks and sting rays (nice sharks), amazing creatures to see. Did some dune bugging, with a surprise horse back ride (Pj did very well on his rough old stead). Most of our group went on a deep sea fishing trip, catching 2 marlin, couple of barracudas and some mahui mahui.

The wedding was beautiful, 3 piece mariachi band, exotic palms and flowers and even some crazy geese showed up. Jess and Joe wrote their own vows, very touching and romantic. Took the neatest wedding pictures on the beach and then we all had a huge group dinner with lots of wine and toasts and cheers

The beach was amazing with white smooth sand and we held the first international beersbee tournament. For those who don’t know, beersbee is played with a frisbee and each team has to attempt to knock the opponents beer off a platform. Various points and drinks are awarded throughout the game by the referees.

Overall, we had a great time, would love to have stayed there forever but the snow keeps on building up at home.
