Being Happy in a Non-Happy World

If you were to ask most people what do they want from life, they will tell you, to be happy. But, it seems that being happy is a goal that most people find elusive.

We really must inquire, why is this? Is happiness such an elusive thing that so few people ever realize it?

If youwere to ask most people, "who do you think in this world is happy?" they would probably tell you the wealthy are happy. But have you ever occasioned in the houses of the wealthy? If you did, you would see that in reality, there is no more happiness there than anywhere else.

In fact,weprobably realize, that with the vast wealth of the wealthy, they also face many problems that the we does not know. True they may enjoy the convenience of being able to purchase that which they desire but this does not bring them any lasting happy. They may have problems with their spouses and children that the over abundance of money causes. No, sorry, happiness is not with them in greater abundance than with other social stratas.

What can we do? Enjoy the life you are having now, you may think it’s boring or uncolourful, but it is the source of happiness, do not regret when someday you lose this life .Enjoy the time with you parents and friend,I tink that’s the most wonderful time in the world.

Really, happiness and contentment is in your hands.It depend on what you think about life.

Just Benefit from Peer Pressure

Owing to the rapidly developing and changeable society, it cannot be denied that peer pressure is having a more and more important influence on us young people, especially on the struggling students. And there goes one saying by Shakespeare, ” To be or not to be: that is a problem.” Of course, no one is not weighted by it. So according to peer pressure, I just prefer to hold it that peer pressure is beneficial and what we can and should do is to benefit from it. And then there are three reasons as follows.

First, peer pressure brings about peer challenges which are more likely for us to deal with. Uncertain and variable as they may be, we are capable enough to make the most of them. So as long as we regard them positive, they will stimulate us to broaden our horizons so as to improve our abilities. It is worth making progress along with such peer motivation, isn’t it? Second, It does do good to us to set on a goal. Once we aim at a firm goal, it is probable for us to be absorbed in the meaningful things. And naturally, we will have a strong tendency to live a fruitful life. Finally, it draws more of our attention to peers. Staying with them, we feel the so-called peer pressure, thus, we start to take great trouble to tell the difference between ourselves and them. Then a general impression of them arises. And from it, we can seize the opportunity to take in their good aspects to arm ourselves, if willing enough. No sooner do we behave modestly than we can benefit a lot from them.

In closing, the more fierce challenges are, the stronger peer pressure is. It, obviously, proves inevitable along the line, but its advantages play the main role which will contribute to building up our characteristics and creating a better life beyond peradventure. Namely, peer pressure is beneficial, as the benefits mentioned above. And the best approach to tackle peer pressure is just to benefit from it.
