About the exhibition

The County of Sor-Trondelag is located in the middle of Norway. It is about 18800 Square kilometer in area and has 285, 000 inhabitants. The county capital Trondheim is the third largest city in the country and also known as the technological capital of Norway.

Dec.15, 2010—Jan.31, 2011, the Special Exhibition ‘In Norwegian Style’ will be held in Luo Yang Museum by agreement between the Sor-Trondelag county and Luo Yang Museum.

The main purpose of this event is to introduce the modern fine art and folk customs, to promote our cooperation in aspects such as art and culture, to deepen the friendship between the two countries.

“In Norwegian Style ” can be divided into two major parts: the graphical works by Haakon Gullvag, a well-known Norwegian artist; and photography with images from Trondelag and Norway. Through this exhibition, our friends in Luo Yang can get glimpse of the culture and landscape from Norway.
